Four ninjas developed a front-end React application and a back-end FastAPI server that enabled children to create their own storybooks. The application utilized the DALL-E 2 API for image generation. We designed a user-friendly interface that allowed children to choose characters, settings, and props, and add their own text. Additionally, we implemented a robust data storage system that utilized SQL to store users' created stories, including text and generated images. Throughout the project, we demonstrated strong proficiency in React, FastAPI, API integration, and SQL, as well as excellent teamwork and communication skills. We deployed the application using CapRover, allowing for easy deployment and management in a production environment, and gained experience with CI/CD pipelines during the deployment process.
